Spiral Wound Gaskets:(as per below)
- ASME B16.47 SERIESA,
- ASME/ANSIB16.5
- DIN FLANGES, JIS FLANGES
- BS 1560, BS10, BS4504
- API 605 (ASME B16.47 SERIES B)
- Spiral Wound gaskets are available in a variety of styles to suit the particular flange facing being utilized on the flanges.
- A winding is made of alternate plies of a metal wire(ss 316,304,c276,825,625&Duplex GRs) and a soft non-metallic filler(GRAPHITE,PTFE,ASBESTOS,NON ASBESTOS).With MS outer ring or SS GRs IR&OR.
- The Style W is just a sealing component (winding) only, which is normally used on tongue and groove joints, male and female facings and groove to flat flange facings.

Ring Joint Gaskets: (as per API 6A ,17D & ASME B 16.20)
-
Ring Joint Gaskets are suitable for high pressure and high temperature applications. The Joint Gaskets are available in R, RX, BX styles and in oval/octagonal profiles. Sara manufacturers in accordance with specific tolerances on CNC machines.
Ring Joint Gaskets fully comply with the ASME B16.20 standard and the API spec 6A requirements (where applicable).
Ring Joint Gaskets as per API- 6A (PSL4).
The units are manufactured in a variety of standard and special materials.
Features
- R type (oval and octagonal) solid sections to fit standard ring joint flanges with trapezoidal grooves.
- Types RX and BX with complex beveled edge sections for wellhead pressures above 700 bar.
- Combination Gaskets - Used where two flanges of different sizes are to be joined together.
- Split Gaskets - Used where an API flange is to be joined with low pressure ANSI Flange where a spiral wound gasket is used.
- Special metal gasket made to customer specifications.
-
Materials
- Standard: Soft iron, low carbon steel, alloy steels F5 and 410; stainless steels 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321 and 347.
- Non-standard: high nickel alloys, super alloy steels and other stainless grades.
- Rubber coated ring joint gaskets - soft iron metal ring joint gaskets are coated with nitrile rubber for testing wellhead assemblies and valves. Rings can be reused and do not damage flange grooves.
- RTJ with Kammprofile:
- Kammprofile Gaskets:
- Kammprofile gaskets are recognized as a problem solver for heat exchangers, large vessels, and equipment that experience excessive movement due to thermal expansion. The Kammpro provides one of the tightest seals combined with superior load bearing characteristics. Kammpro gaskets consist of a sealing core metal with or without guide ring. The sealing core is a solid metal gasket with concentric serrations on both sealing surfaces and faced with soft material such as flexible graphite, EPTFE, or the HTG configuration depending on operating conditions. It is the preferred design when needing improved performance at low seating stresses. The simultaneous actions of a high compressibility facing material on the outside of the grooved metal in combination with limited penetration of the tips of the solid metal core enhance the interaction of the two materials. This allows the component to perform individually to their optimum capabilities.
